Baby Elephant

A few years ago I made my youngest sister an elephant for her birthday. She'd recently been asking for another one, so for her birthday this year I found this pattern. Super cute and easy.

I also made her a pair of 'Pippi Longstocking' socks in some red wool with flecks of black.

Topsy-Turvey Cinderella

I've had this pattern for years, but was a bit put off by how complicated it looked. My gran recently made one for charity and both my sisters decided they wanted one, so I thought I'd give it a go for one of their birthdays. It turns out it's not complicated, there are just lots of little bits to it.

My First Commission

Some friends of my parents are moving to Australia and mum asked me to make some knitted dolls for them as a leaving present. This is meant to be a Shell Oil employee with red boiler suit complete with little shell logo and hard hat.
The women in in a swimsuit with a swimming float as it was made for my mum's aqua aerobics teacher.

Lots of Babies!

This year seems to be the year of the baby for my friends. 3 goods friends have given birth this year or are due to given birth very soon. I found a gorgeous hat pattern that I've made for the 2 baby girls that my friends have given birth to this year. Very easy pattern, but looks lovely and intricate.

Christmas Fairy

This is the Christmas fairy that I made for a very special lady who spent her birthday and Christmas in hospital.

My knitted family

I was going to have a break from knitting after Christmas, but couldn't put my needles away. I can't tell you what I'm making as they are presents for someone, but photos will follow soon.

Lady Leticia and Rascal

I think this one is my favourite. It was for my sister who for years has wanted a puppy. The dog's head even moves!
