Winifred and her wool shop. I made this for my Nanna who is a fellow knitter. I love the wee baby clothes on the front of the shop counter.

Mrs Mopitup

Mrs Mopitup - made for my Mum for Christmas. It was my first attempt at making a doll and not my best work. I used the wrong type of wool so it turned out larger that expected.

Other News

I knitted a wee baby hat, for friends of ours that have just had a little girl called Alexandra. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before wrapping it up.


My mum just bought me a new knitting book with some gorgeous patterns in it so look out for some more photos comming soon!

Mitten time

I realised the other day that I hadn't added my latest work to my blog. A pair of fingerless mittens for my sister's birthday.



I'll be honest....they took me a couple of attempts to make. I'm not sure what went wrong, but they turned out to be massive! Even now my sister says that they are slightly too big for her. Still I enjoyed making them and plan on making myself a pair before winter time.
